When deciding on a halloween costume, I usually opt for something homemade since that was what I was used to growing up. Come to think about it, I don't recall ever buying a costume. My mom was into sewing and made ours by hand every year, and I'm so glad she did because looking back- she always did such a darling job.
I looooove Halloween and all the childhood memories that come along with it! We would always use pillow cases to get as much candy as possible...some of my costumes over years include a bumble bee, a bunch of grapes, and Helen Keller (that was for 5th grade--we had to be someone "influential.")
ReplyDeleteThis year I'm going to be Miss Frizzle for the classroom, but for a party I'm going as a Greek goddess. :D
(love your blog, by the way!)
Oh my...such creativity!
ReplyDeleteThe jelly bean costume is genius!

goodnightstars, I always wanted to go as a bunch of grapes when I was younger, but never got around to it unfortunately. haha Miss Frizzle sounds like a fun idea, as well as the greek goddess! And I'm glad you're a fan of my blog, that always means a lot :) xx.
