Happy Halloween

me | therese | stephanie

I got stuck working Saturday night and didn't think I'd have time to go out to any halloween parties that I was invited to, but work was slow and I ended up getting out at a decent time. Though I didn't have a costume planned, nor did I have time to buy anything which forced me to throw together what ever I had. I ended up going as a porcelain doll, in part due to my paleness, lol. I found a pink dress, a pair of white lace tights and heels with oversized bows on them (which, unfortunately, you can't even see). I painted on bright pink cheeks and curled my hair in 10 minuets flat. I was surprised it turned out halfway decent.

I hope everyone has a good night trick-or-treating, passing out candy or watching scary movies and vegging out. After meeting up nephew for a bit, I'm off to a communal event in my neighborhood park for cider and donuts with Athena. Stay safe.

One Weekend, Two Graduations

My mom, dad, & I

My little sister, Catie

This past weekend, my younger sister & I both had our graduation ceremonies. I was really happy my dad came home from San Diego, CA to watch us walk. I missed him a lot, and it's always nice when he's able to visit. I just hope I'll be able to visit him in Cali soon. My dad bought my sister, Catie, a new Mac Book (as he did for all of us when we graduated hs,) and when he asked what I wanted, I was quite surprised because I hadn't been expecting a gift. I really couldn't think of anything I particularly wanted, so I told him it wasn't necessary. Since he insisted, after thinking about it for a while, I decided that what I needed most was a new passport. I'm planning on going to France and the end of this year, or the beginning of next year, so I'll be needed one anyway. Just lots more saving up to go!

Spring In The City

We're officially back in the Michigan. My sister & I got home from NYC a couple days ago and I'm already having withdrawals. We had such an amazing time visiting my cousin, Niki, who resides in Greenpoint, Brooklyn. I'm so lucky to have such an awesome cousin, and also very jealous she lives in New York.
